Question:
Will my tongue piercing hole close up?

I first got my tongue pierced in August of last year. I noticed it was crooked when I left the tattoo parlor. My mom told me to just wait til it healed to make sure it was crooked. A month ago I got sick of looking at how crooked it was so I took it out and went back to get it repierced. The guy obviously didn't know what he was doing because I asked if it was healed enough and he said it should be fine. As I feared, it wasn't healed properly and I pierced it too soon, so my new, straight piercing merged back to it's original spot, resulting in another crooked piercing and a ripped tongue. Will it be okay to pierce again? How long will it take to close up to get it redone?

Yes it will close. It just takes time. After it does heal just re-peirce it in a different spot on your tongue. Perhaps a bit higher or lower. Not in the scar tissue again. Try a better, more experienced peircer.
