It's normal because you use your arms all day long. Try to use that arm as little as possible because it does irritate it a bit. Try keeping it straight. It shouldn't do any damage moving it, it is just a very tender spot. I've got a forearm piece that goes up a little over my forearm, and even though I've had my piece for about a year now, it still puffs up in that ditch area every now and then because of either too much movement or my allergic reaction to ink. Either way, just keep cleaning it regularly, don't touch it too much, and don't pick at it! Take ibuprofen for the swelling and see if that helps.

Most reputable artists will give free touch ups on a ditch. It is even harder to heal because it is inevitable you will bend your arm, so ink loss is almost a given. Properly healing it is the first priority. Your artist can touch up and add shading if blowouts occur.

I have never done or seen someone do (personally) a full sleave. But my educated guess would be that that's a part of your body that you bend all day everyday.

Since you did say there was some bruising, I wouldn't worry to much about that yet. It's been a week. I would say if that doesn't go away in two weeks I would go back to your artist.

I would try to keep that arm not moveing as much as possible. Keep applying whatever you were told to use (everyone has their own preference).

If it's not feeling or looking better in another week I would go back to your artist.

But theirs nothing stoping you going in earlier if you want to. That's what they are there for. :D
