What do I do about red bumps around and on my tattoo?

I got a tattoo on my side about 3 weeks ago, and about 2 days after I got it, little red bumps started to form and it became very itchy. At first I thought it was the A&D ointment I was using, but I havent used it in2 weeks and it still comes up. Sometimes its alot of red bumps, but then some times its only a few. I think my skin had a reaction to the ink but I dont know what to do about it. Any answers???

Sounds like a bad reaction to the ink... Go to the tattoo shop and get their opinion or make a doctors appt.

Same thing happened to me, i was using tattoo goo. I switched to aquaphor and it worked fine and bumps went away

try putting lotion on it. or aloe is always good for anything too so try getting aloe and put that on there and let it sit for a while. maybe thatll help
