That all depends on the individual you could be 18 or 70.

I do tattoos. I've done retail without it being a problem

I'm 21 and I got my first tattoo when I was 20. I have 3, 1 is a dragon on my right arm, I have a death bat and skulls on my left arm and then I have an angel of death piece on my back. I don't regret any of them because I thought about what I wanted and knew what I really wanted to get when I got them done. I think 20 or 21 is the best age to make a decision to get a tattoo because then you have time to think about what you want and make sure it's what you actually want because if you got one right when you turned 18 it can just be because you can and you might regret it later not saying that everyone that gets one at 18 regrets it. Just make sure you know what you want and that you will love it forever. I work in retail right now but want to be a cop but no they don't cause problems because all my tattoos are hidden when I wear a shirt.

1 tribal design back of neck2 dancing skeleton my youngest son drew inner left ankle3 memorial tattoo for my mom outer right calf4 a pig my oldest son drew inner right ankle5 a design celebrating getting a degree outer left ankle6&7 devil and angel footprints on each shoulder as a memorial to my grandpa 8 an om symbol left inner wrist. and soon I will have an angel on my right inner wrist and a memorial tattoo for my grandma on my back.

I only regret the tribal one but I think that had to do with no forethought. All the other ones mean the world to me and so I won't regret them!

Anytime after 18 as long as they are well thought out

Dinosaurs on my ankle, a bass clef and a treble clef put together to look like a heart on my chest above my heart, the word "hate" on my wrist (look at it in a mirror and it says "love"), and a crow chasing a butterfly on my other wrist.

Don't regret it yet, probably won't later.

What you think is the best age to make a decision about getting a tattoo:

At least late teens, early 20s, so you make a wise decision and don't get something just to get it.

I'm a CNA in a long term care facility, and they don't cause any problems at all.

- my first one is a pink orchid and the most recent one is a koi fish

- orchid is on right inner arm/wrist, koi fish is on ribs

- I regre that I didn't get a more well-made orchid.. I don't regret the reasoning why I got it (represents my mom who beat breast cancer, it's her favorite flower), but the fact that it's the most visible out of my only 2 tattoos haha.. but I like it ok enough.

What you think is the best age to make a decision about getting a tattoo.

- As long as there is a good reason to why someone gets it, age doesn't matter.. the only reason shouldn't just be JUST to get a tattoo and end up getting a stupid tazmanian devil on your shoulder or something.. age doesn't mean good judgement all the time

Do they cause any problems in your professional life? (And state your profession)

- During interviews I've hid my orchid with long sleeved shirts and/or bracelets.. but once I have my job.. it's honestly not a big deal. I have co workers who have piercing etc.. as long as you're not strutting it all the time and being obnoxious about it and bringing attention to it overall haha..

-a name on hipbone, a quote on ribs, and picture on the bottom of my feet, angel wings (not the common ones you see on everyone) on my back

-I thought very long about my tattoos. I don't think anyone should get one that they have the slightest doubts about. I definitely won't regret mine.

-I know I got tattoos at a "young age", as a lot of people say, but it's up to each person. Some people get tattoos very young, some very old. I think for most people, 25ish seems to be a good age.

No. I work in Public Relations.

What are they - om mani padme hum in Tibetan script - red unfolding lotus flower -blue unfolding lotus flower - Green Tara - Chenrezig - thousand armed buddha

Where - The mantra and a lotus on left upper arm - lotus on right upper arm - Green Tara on left shin - Chenrezig on right shin - thousand armed buddha on my back

I don't regret then at all and plan more

Any age as long as you think them through and don't get any on a whim or for a joke

I am retired so no they don't cause a problem and anyway all of them can be covered.

*What of & where- an angel with initials over my heart, "destiny" & "faith" in hieroglyphics on my inner arms, Life/Death in negative space covering my rib cage, the creation of adam shoulder blade to shoulder blade, "strength" on low abdomen, mickey mouse on hip, angel on outside of leg, tribal on lower back, cross on shoulder.

*Regrets?- my lower back, it was an impulse tattoo and is the only one with no meaning to me, I am planning on covering it up with a back piece

*Age- It is hard to put an age on it because even at 18 some people are not mature enough to understand the repercussions from a tattoo. (I was 15 but I guess you can say a mature 15 & my mother signed for it due to the meaning of the tat)

*All of my tattoos are easily hid. That is one thing I always made sure of, but the piercings are different.



I have had family pull their children away from the pool when I got into my swim suite with my daughter. It i sad ( that people are so closed minded, but they are for me and no one else)
