there are many questions asked liked yours....if you look around on here you can find a fairly accurate answer. It definitely depends on how much is charged.... should range between $100-$150/hr. for a decent artist. The time is the second thing.... for a half sleeve it will usually range between 10-15 hrs. of work and can fluctuate depending on detail, color, speed of the artist. Also, depending on you and/or the artist there will be between 3-5 sessions of work. Think about a 2-3 week healing time between each session....so based on that you can figure out how much it will cost and how long it will take. Hope this helps.

(I'm getting a 3/4 sleeve, color, and i can expect around 20 hrs. of work at $175/hr.)

Half sleeves can be pretty costly and they take alot of time. You may have to sit for multiple sessions meaning that you sit for the outline and then wait for that to heal, sit for the shading, wait for that to heal, and maybe go back for color. So you are looking at maybe 6 weeks (2 weeks healing time, each), maybe more depending on the availability of the artist. The winter would be the best time to do this so that it wont be ugly during the summer and you wont have to hide it from sunlight.

It will cost a few hundred dollars. I'm getting a 4"x4" tattoo full color is going to cost between 200 and 300 dollars.

It depends on the amount of detail the tattoo has, and where you go.

Usually they do up to 4hr sessions.

They can do the outline. Then let you come back the next day, and do color.

Or some artist want the outline to heal completley before they fill it in. It just all depends. You would have to call, and ask whatever shop wants to do it.

The prices ranging from

[low detail] $200 - $1000+ [tons of detail]

I'm not any expert on this seeing as I have no tattoos.

But I'm guessing almost in the thousands.

Maybe your lucky enough for it to be the high hundreds.
