I think that they're beautiful - http://www.chinesetools.eu/tibetan-tattoos/

I want the word "fire" in Tibetan script. It will be my second tattoo, and I want it in a very discreet location. It will symbolize my turning twenty-one and emergence into adulthood, as a reminder that I have the ambition and fiery drive to achieve my aspirations, and to never lose confidence.

Yay or nay?

Big time Yay! Tibetan script is beautiful, and although I'm usually against against script or quote tattoos, I'm intensely interested in the ancient languages. It truly is a beautiful script, and 'fire' is a great quote to have for a tattoo. Fire has always been symbolic of purification, and nothing beats purging your soul to make progress towards it. That's a good ideal. I really like it.

Yay, if it's so meaningful to you,

just be aware that most people will mistake it for a cheesey kanji,

or worse still given Tibets political situation, a cheesy Chineese character tattoo
