You're a fast healer. It's a good thing, just don't remove piercings for any longer than necessary. Get a retainer if you need to hide it.

If you just got it then it will most likely close, but if you've had it for a few months four hours a day wont do anything.

if you want it closed then you have to take off your lip ring permanently

it will take 2week to a month to close and for the scar to go away

but if take it off for four hour's a day then no it will not close maybe it will hurt abit when you put it back on but it will not close

It may or may not close. The piercing still hasn't healed all of the way...meaning it's not like you could leave the jewelry out for as long as you wanted and still be able to put it back in.



If I were you, I wouldn't risk it. But that's just me.

If you have had it already for 4 months, then it shouldn't close after only a few hours a day. You should ask a piercer, but I really think it should be fine. If you are worried, maybe you can wear a clear piercing retainer instead of removing it completely?
