Just got a tattoo a couple days ago and its the word "strength" on my arm in a fancy script, but the lines don't exactly look smooth. Is this the artists fault or is it just because its still healing?

Probably the artist. If the lines aren't smooth and even, the artist wasn't making smooth even strokes when tattooing you. If it looks wiggled now, it's going to be wiggled. In a few years when the tattoo feathers out, that may minimize some of that.

I have been there. I did not go to my usual shop and chose a shop by my house becuse I was just getting four uniform stars above one of my classic pieces for my children... who can mess up geometric shapes right? wrong. I kept hopes up that it would look better when it was healed but the work was just crappy. The piece below it has alot of thick black lining so I had another artist go through and thicken the lines. It turned out fine but that is about as good as you can do, there is no eraser.

You got it in "Fancy script" and it looks wiggled. Now you're wondering if there's a problem.

Seriously?
It's clear that I've reached my quota for the day, must leave now or I'll go on a murdering spree.

It may be due to healing...but most likely its the artist.
But its your fault for not looking at their portfolio/line work before getting inked.

Just wait for it to heal, then see if the artist ****** it up. Of he did, don't go back to him and get it touched up
