Actually I never thought about this before. You have done some good research to see this. But honestly I don't know; it could also be the richer class hide their tattoos more? I really don't know

It's a cultural thing. Rich people are taught not to do anything that might interfere with them getting ahead in their chosen field and that might cause some other people to have a bad impression of them. Tattoos have some history related to sailors on shore leave and prison inmates, so a rich man is taught to keep away from anything like that. And if they must tattoo, it should be easily hidden.

The poor man, on the other hand, gains respect and street cred from being tattooed. They can't afford an expensive house or car, but they can afford some tats. In his culture tattoos are seen as a means of expression. And since most poor people have blue collar jobs, there is no fear of being rejected at work because of them.

Tattoos are a form of artistic expression and values. Rich people often have tattoos, too, they just hide them better or have fewer of them.

Also, rich people waste their money on other things, things that cost far more than any tattoo.

1. They purchase Brand-New Cars (the value of a brand-new car is cut in half after 1 year)

2. They go on Yachts, Cruises, and Out-of-Country Vacations.

3. They buy Season Tickets/Passes to sport-team stadiums, but only go to some of the games.

4. They imbibe Starbucks coffee every day.

5. Dropping $100 to $200 on a meal for two people is not a big deal to rich folk.

6. They send their kids to private preschools, elementary schools, and middle-schools. (Not even private colleges care about those.)

To rich people, tattoos are not expensive. Rich people don't get tattoos because they don't want to have them on their bodies (not because they can't afford it), because having a tattoo is a rebellious thing and a lot of wealthy people want to look respectable because they have high-profile jobs that demand a certain image. A rich person might have a tattoo that is covered underneath their suit though, so you never see it and it doesn't interfere with their work.

Some rich people have tattoos but they don't normally have extremely visible ones. However, if you look at the quality of poor peoples then they're normally badly done which would indicate that they were done at home and not by a professional. Mostly done for free or for exchange. Then again, I don't know your definition of poor. I work retail and I'm poor but I have four tattoos which together total around $1400 but I saved money to afford them.

Rich people, and im talking buisness people, not celebrities, have many things in common, one of which is not having tattoos. If you want more read the book "the millionaire next door". If you want to be rich, immitate what rich people do.

Thats not true. Its actually vice versa. Rich people have tattoos (look at celebs, sport and pop stars, etc) while poor people dont want to look sluty.
