It's not that it looks trashy, it's just that it starts to look cluttered.

Personally, I will never have more than 2 lobe piercings and a Helix-Conch industrial. It just starts to look stupid at a point.

I have 3 lobe piercings on each ear, a cartilage and a tragus piercing on my right ear. I just have little studs for the tragus and cartilage piercing, so it's just a little glimmer, and I have diamond studs in the lobe piercings. I think it should be all in moderation. I have 5 on my right ear and 3 on my left. Just hearing the number 5 to people might make them think it's too much, but it's all about the accessories you use. If you have these big over the top hoops or long earrings, then yeah it might LOOK a little trashy to those more conservative type, but to each his own! It's your body, who cares? I sure as hell don't look at other people and say "You have 4 piercings, gross!"

I have 4 lobe piercings in each ear, an industrial and a daith and a regular cartilage piercing, plus one more that I don't know what it's called. I love getting my ears pierced and I plan on getting more! Don't let anyone tell you it looks trashy, you just have to know how to do it right. I work as an ear doctor and I've never gotten any criticism for them.

I have 8 going up my left ear and only 4 in my right ear. It's a personal preference and if people don't like it and think I'm trashy, don't look.

I say that it's up to that individual person how many ear piercings they should have. The only way I feel that it would look trashy is if they have those big, gaudy earrings all in their holes. Simple studs or diamonds or even small hoops look good to me. And, they would most definitely look trashy in the workplace!

If you have too many visible piercing, then yes. For girls I'd say 2-3 in each ear, 1 on the face and that is pushing it. Most people can hide their tongue ring when they need to so I am not counting it. For guys, 1 hole in each ear, maybe one at the top, and 1 facial.



As for other parts of the body.... do whatever, but keep in mind that if you have to go swimming with your significant other's conservative parents or something that involves less clothing you better be prepared for some disapproving looks.

I really don't get why people ask these questions. Get as many as you'd like, it's your ear (assuming you're talking about yourself here). If people don't like it, that's their problem. If you're that concerned with what others think, don't get any at all. As long as you don't think it's trashy, what does it matter what others think?

Usually piercings up and down your ears look fine. My teacher has 9 and looks fine actually, but she doesnt wear them all at the same time. I would say maximum 9 but try to go for 4-6. At least you can take them out, unlike tattoos where you have to look at them forever!

I think two one each ears it's okay. Maybe one on the cartilage it's okay as well.



I think many ear piercings are nasty. It does look trashy for some reason. Maybe because it just looks like there isn't anymore room for the ear lobe anymore or just the ear itself.

That is just people's stupid opinion. I have 31 piercings and I am fine with it. If others have problems with it, so what they are not the one pierced. Other people find it very attractive.

nicely relies upon. i think of at times eye foreheadpiercings look stupid and at times abdomen button, even though it quite relies upon on how the guy clothing and acts besides. (don't be indignant in case you or others have those piercings because it does count on the guy itself)
