Can you get a tattoo with fake tan on?

I'm getting my tattoo soon on my leg and they're really white so I wear fake tan can i get my tattoo done with fake tan on help? Thanks

It would be very unwise and possibly dangerous to do this. Tattooing works by breaking the outer layer of the skin. If you have any colouring (or anything else) at the site of the tattoo then you will almost certainly get some of the stuff into the holes made by the tattoo needle.



Let sense and your skin's health take priority over your vanity for a while. Leave your legs alone until after the tattoo has healed. The mess and medical problems that might otherwise happen will be far worse than having a pale skin for a couple of weeks.



Consider wearing tights or stockings.

The skin must be sterilised before a tattoo takes place. And wiped of any plemishes plus no make up.



If someone does tattoo you while wearing tan. There is a chance it could become infected as your skin will break.



And no fake tanning until it is fully healed (approx 1 month)

heyyz, i wouldn't really recomend putting a fake tan on over your tattoo. it could irritate the skin, but if your skin seems to have healed up completely form the tattoo then nohing really should happen. just be carefull and if you think it might cause irritation then i would suggest covering the tattoo while applying the tan. hope i helped!!
