you should wait. but the ink from a tattoo goes into the deep layers of your skin. your skin will peel after getting the tattoo also. I say wait but realistically all it will do is make it harder on the artist

I'm no dermatologist, but If you're getting a tattoo, the needle will pierce through more than the top layer, and the skin sluffing off is only the top layer and wouldn't affect a tattoo(:

wait for your skin to stop peeling as this is your skins way of healing itself so use aloe vera gel to lock in moisture and make sure you drink lots of water to keep your skin hydrated
