My friend gave me an indian ink tattoo 2 days ago.. it seemed like a good idea at the time but now I am not liking the placement of it or even what it says. It is on my wrist and it pretty small, maybe an inch in width and height.

So I am wondering how i can make it fade so i can get a coverup or even just fade it so it is barely visible. A tattoo artist said I should pick at it when it scabs and put neosporn on it and clean it with alochol. What else could I do to make it fade??

If anyone has any ideas they will be greatly appreciated!

The tattoo artist was right. Thats really just about all you can do to make it fade. You could get it in the sun alot.

Oh wow, you got an amateur tattoo done on your wrist? That's horrible. You are going to want that professionally lasered off. Go in sooner rather then later. It will take a lot of treatments and money. But its your wrist, you are going to see it hundreds of times a day for the rest of your life. If you ever do get a real tattoo there you don't want it to be there just to cover up a previous embarrassment, and cover ups never look perfect.

India Ink only fades over decades. Your only real option is a coverup tattoo which will cost 600% more than if you go a normal tattoo.

You mean Henna Tattoos? They fade away depending on how long you had it on when you put it on. For example, if you really let it stay on your hand for hours and dried out, it probably takes a month. If not, and you took it off for like 2 hours, it stays 3 weeks.
