I had a minor spelling error in one of my tattoos (just 1 letter was an "o" supposed to be an "i"). When I got it fixed my artist added white to fade what wasn't supposed to be there, it took a few tries, but would only hold so much ink, so it doesn't really work that well

Personally I have my ink work done in black ink it holds up in the sun provided you wear sunblock often, but that is true with any color tattoo. I say go with whatever you want, black ink does not fade as badly as one might think, white ink is more prone to showing your tan skin after a day in the sun.

You can outline a black tattoo with white ink, but to totally cover a black tattoo with white ink is doubtful. I have white "accents" on some of my tattoos where there is black ie. my skull tattoos' eyes. He went over the black in with white along the edges and that worked but all over wont work...

NO, But DERM BLEND CAN, You can buy it at a high end department store. Go on to google and type in DERMA BLEND and see it working. You apply it like makeup and the makeup artists even air brushes it on. It's great for birth marks like a wine mark on the face. Great for varicose veins too. Will stay on very well. Will not rub off till washed off. Great stuff.......

No. Can you draw with a white marker over a black marker mark?
