There is not a shiny silver tattoo pigment. Shiny or metallic images are created by using many color to create a reflective looking image. After all, when you look at something shiny what you see is simply an object that is reflecting the colors around it. Any good artist can create this appearance for you and have not trouble doing so. A good artist can make most anything look metallic.

I think the only real difference between silver and grey is that silver is shiny and metalic-looking. SO you could create the illusion of silver using artistic shading, but the ink itself will still be shades of grey.

It's very possible. I have a mostly silver-looking tattoo. Grey with a combination of some other coloring and shading will give the effect you're looking for.

Just talk to your artist about it and see if he's comfortable doing it.
