The only reason it should feel a little rough is because you have a scab over it. It depends on how fast you heal, how deep, how detailed and also where its placed. Mine lasted for about 10-12 days before it finally evened out and looked great! Keep using your recomended lotion/balm though until it has smoothed out and no not pick at it! Lol good luck and enjoy it!

Hi. Sounds fine to me. All of my tatts crinkled up before they peeled. I think the crinkling is the scabbing and is the tiny layer of skin that is healing and will come away when you peel. If you can get your hands on it, buy some pawpaw ointment. I use lucas' it will stop the itching I never have itching in my new healing tatts since I started using that. Also only use a tiny bit of the ointment just enough to moisturise the area. Too much can make it spotty. Tatts need to breathe. Some say no more than 4 times a day but I use it when ever it feels tight. All tatt weep to a certain extent for a couple of days and a small amount of ink loss is normal don't worry about that either. No sun no sea or pool water till it has peeled. You should also be aware that the tatt will not be as shiny as it was when it was first done, another result of the pealing. The only thing you should look out for is redness heat excess pain and swelling that does not go away. Hope this helps. It will feel smooth after peeling. Maintain it after that by regular moisturising.

YES! This is completely normal!

Tattoo needles break the skin, and the skin scabs over when healing with the ink in it.

Keep moisturizing with Tattoo Goo or A&D Ointment. You'll be normal in 2 weeks max.

Hope you enjoy your tattoo!

Normal for a new tattoo, which is technically a fresh wound. It is healing. It can take longer than 2 weeks to feel completely normal. Don t scratch it or pick at it. It it gets covered with clothing, don t wear rough or tight material.

it will feel rough for about 2 weeks or more depending on where you go it and how big it is. make sure you are cleaning it and keeping the ointment on it. its scabbing over but dont peal it off cuz it could mess up the color. even after it heals it might feel like its pushing out when you rub ur hand over it but that will go away eventually. <3

That's completely normal. You know when it's fully healed because it'll be smooth and feel like the rest of your skin rather than the patch feeling you're describing. Just keep up with your aftercare.

It's normal. It's going through the healing process and soon it will scab and start to itch. Don't scratch or pick at it. Keep putting the moisturizer on it.

It will feel rough for a little while because it is scabbing over. Don't mess with it too much or you'll ruin it.

it will still be scabbed after 5days, so this is what you will be able to feel, give it time to heal properly. and try not to keep touching it as if you have dirty hands (you may not realise) you may get it infected.

hope this helps
