I need help with a tattoo design?

Question

I'm wanting to get a tattoo and I need help with ideas: this is what I want it to symbolize.

The end of a chapter in my life that consisted of heart breaks, disappointments, overwhelming passion and emotional turmoil. I want it to remind me to never let a man take me for granted again or settle for less then what I deserve, no matter how much I love him. I want it to remind me of the strong woman I've become and that no one is ever going to take that power from me again. I wont it to be elegant and feminine yet have a strong message of inner beauty and strength.

Any ideas of how I could represent all that in a tattoo? It's really important to me to have something to seal off that part of my life for closure. Any help would be appreciated. <3

There's the symbol ofr infinity which can be seen as a snake swallowing it's tail, or an eight on it's side. If you image search it you might get some ideas.
