Hope fully you have been wearing flip flops and open topped shoes/ shoes that do not rub the surface of the tattoo (that means no socks as well!!) since getting your tattoo to prevent irritation. Washing the tattoo is a NO NO!! esp. doing it twice a day this will cause the the thin scab thats over the top of the tattoo to come off causing it too not heal as well as it should in addition to bleeding the color out. Its ok to get wet when u take a shower and soap to get on as well as rinsing it but you shouldnt be "washing" it. Another thing my tattoo artist told me was to avoid putting neosporin or ANY type of lotions on it but instead use Vaseline (its best to get a small jar from the store and carry it with you to put on it until your fully healed (around 2 weeks) after the scab peels NATURALLY. Vaseline also helps with the "itchy feeling" as well and was my best friend after both of my tats)

My guess is that your skin is reacting to the soaps and lotions you've been using. Or it could be a reaction to the ink itself. Its common for these bumps to occur however contacting the shop where you got it done would be the best thing to do they can give you a better answer than i can :(

(I've had a tattoo on the top of my foot for nearly 3 years now)

my boy friend is 21 and has 4 tattoos and 2 of them are huge, one on his ribs and the other is a quater sleeve, ending just above the elbow... the 1st one he had done is a star on his left arm and it is bumpy and he told me it is only like that because the tattoo artist was an amature and didnt do a good job, he made the needle go too far into the skin causing the tattoo to be lumpy, your tattoo artise might have just made the mistake of inserting the needle too far into the skin and therefor made it bumpy... and im sorry to say that if it is the case that there is nothing you can to about it and itll always be like that im sorry, hope it helped xxxx
