What should I wear to my first tattoo session? spine tattoo?

I'll be getting the quote "look both ways before you cross my mind" along my spine. What would be best for me to wear, how long do you think this would take? and is there anything I should bring with me?

I would pack a few options. Open back, but if its a sunny day you want it covered. Different artists use saran wraps or other pads when its done. I always recommend a soft clean cotton so you don't irritate and it moves freely as you need it to against the A&D. Open back tank or something is also a good idea. You probably want some padding against the car seat on the way home as A&D is messy.

I would wear something that has an open split in the back. If you don't have anything like that then wear a loose fitting shirt.
