So I'm pretty sure you can only cover black with more black so the grey is going to be where you have the most freedom. I actually wore cover sleeves while my cover up tattoo was being worked on: http://www.tat2x.com Have you already spoken with your artist?

I fancy full sleeves. I like much, much more than sleeves on a body, but in the realm of arms, full sleeves are lovely. I think if done well(with ANY tattoos), they are just beautiful and flattering. My favorite is full sleeves on women.
