Parental consent means nothing in the UK - it's minimum 18 legally. I personally wouldn't trust any tattooist who would knowingly tattoo a 16 year old.

Sorry if this sounds like a lecture but any tattooist willing to tattoo a 16 year old, even with parental consent, is breaking the law according to the Tattooing Of Minors Act 1969. Why not wait until you are 18, in that time you can make sure you have a design that you won't regret when you are older. You can also take the time to research the tattooists in your area and work out which of their styles works best with the design you are wanting.

Parental consent does not change the law. The penalty for tattooing a 16 year old with parental permission is the same crime and carries the same as the penalty of tattooing a baby without parental permission. If someone advertised or admitted that they illegally tattoo children then they would be arrested. So I do not know any shop in Edinburgh that illegally tattoos kids - if I did know of one I would report them to the police for breaking the law.

If you want to be legally tattooed at 16 then the nearest place is Belgium. I can recommend several good tattooists in Belgium who will tattoo a 16 year old. For example there is a really good shop in Kortrijk called "Tattoo Box". They tattooist there will happily tattoo you.

Unless you have it done privately by a friend or something you cant the minimum age is 18 not 16 with or without parental consent you can not get a tattoo until you are 18.

Parental consent doesn't change a thing, the laws quite clearly states that tattooing anyone under the age of 18 is a crime. Any tattooist even remotely worth going to won't risk their license for you.

No decent law-abiding tattooist in the UK will tattoo a 16 years old with or without parental consent. It is illegal even with consent. If someone does agree to tattoo you, I wouldn't trust them to stick a needle into my skin as they are breaking the law and are obviously irresponsible. Also it would be extremely damaging for their reputation as a tattooist.

16?! Wow. Well the issue I have here since everyone has addressed the age issue is, a gothic wedding. I'm all for originality but a wedding (marriage) is a ritual not just a bonding between two people. Marriage and the rights and regulations behind the ritual was first introduced (and created) by the bible. I strongly suggest following the rules of that the bible set down since marriage was created by the writers. Its almost a copyright issue. Plus when you get to be 18, 24, 30 or even older your gonna look back on the wedding day as a happy occasion and all the black and down colors will just make you wonder why you did such a thing

Edinburg deserves a while of your life to learn it and this is actually the place to start hotelbye . One of many places where you can have an incredible day trip with all the current household is the Edinburgh Zoo. This zoo is your home to around 1,000 incredible creatures, like the UK's only huge pandas. The Zoo is located in lovely parkland adjustments and contains amazing flamingos, pretty koalas and cheeky chimpanzees. Edinburg is not only any town; Edinburg is the town to invest your household holyday, a holyday that'll never be forgotten.
