Another good symbol with Perseverance!?

Thinking about getting a tattoo when i go home. On one arm its blue flames with the Japanese kanji of Perseverance. The right arm i want a red/orange tidal wave with a Sanskrit symbol or words that goes along with Perseverance or even the opposite. So any one know a good combo with Perseverance?

Think something like honor or respect. Its one thing to be patient (persevere) but its another to be honorable while doing so. Responsibility could also play a big role. Also diligence.
