Occasionally this will happen with tattoos. Mine do itch from time to time, and I have seen people come in to the shop I work at asking the same question so its not like this just happens to you. This is some sort of reaction to the ink, and unless it is something severe where you are having frequent and painful episodes, I would say it is nothing to worry about. If it is severe however, speak to a doctor or have someone in the business who knows what they are talking about take a look at it. Without seeing it I don't really know, but it is probably something you will simply have to adjust to.

Allergic reaction to the ink. Most people use cortisone cream on it and take a Benadryl. Once a week is getting a bit too much. You should talk to an allergist about this. They can perform a punch biopsy to definitively diagnose the allergy.

Sometimes having an artist over tattoo it with a little salt water and have it heal helps a lot. It removes just a bit of the ink. Talk to the doc about it first though.

hihi,

My bf has a tattoo studio and this is the aftercare: Hope this helps

a) remove the dressing after a minimum of 2 hrs

b) wash the tattoo gently with mild soap & warm water, making sure that you remove all of the vaseline

c) pat/dab the tattoo dry gently with paper towels

d) apply a small amount of lotion once or twice a day as required

e) too much cream will damage the tattoo-be careful

f) you may bath or shower with your new tattoo, but DO NOT soak the tattoo in any kind of water

g) salt and chlorinated water will destroy your tattoo. So NO swimming at all until the tattoo heals

h) the sun easily damages the ink we have placed into your skin, so NO sunbathing

i) if you want your tattoo to look good, you should avoid getting it sunburnt. The tattoo is "under" your skin, so a tan will tone down the colours.

j) USE sunblock at all times!

hope this helps

cheers

Happens to me every once in a while if I have a skin irritation, the tattoo will be raised. If you have them frequently look around in your environment and see if there is something irritating your skin on a regular basis. For me, if I wear an itchy piece of clothing, my tattoos will be raised, otherwise they're fine

This query might higher be responded in a scientific class. It might be something from zits to epidermis melanoma. Without a photo, folks might be simply guessing. Other chances are moles, persistent goose bumps, many exceptional epidermis stipulations. If you've got had them so long as you'll do not forget, your moms and dads have not had them looked at via a physician and they do not harm or itch. It is most probably not anything to fear approximately. My recommendation, gain knowledge of to are living with it, ask a physician, or begin saving for plastic surgical procedure.
