Don't use body lotion until it's completely healed. Use A&D ointment and don't use any perfumed soap, use Neutrogena to keep your tattoo from drying out and follow with the A&D.

Well id give it a month before you put and Chemical based (non Natural) moisturizers on it. Hemp Lotion is Very good for new ink, and the skin around it.

How new? If its been at least a few days, then not usually. Call and ask your tattoo artist to be sure, he/she knows what kind of ink they used and what will make it loose its color better than we do =)

I doubt it, but it may burn a bit since its fragrance...if its fairly new like a couple of days or so...you should be using something else, like a salve. if you dont have one...then Lubriderm UNSCENTED would be good, or Cocoa Butter...but the salve would be best...

Do not apply anything over your tattoo while it is healing, it can alter the color.
