How is the healing of an inverse navel piercing?

Ive had the top of my bellybutton pierced for over four years and I had little to no complication. I got the bottom part done last night, and I'm just wondering if the healing process is pretty much the same. I'm a little worried about rejection, but I figure it's pretty close to a standard belly ring, right? So, if youve had both, how was it? And how long do they take to heal? I forgot after four years, lol! Thanks :)

My inverse one rejected the first time I got it pierced. I got it re-pierced months later and it healed great.

My "regular" one healed fine.

Inverse navel piercings take just as long to heal as regular ones - about a year.

And if it rejects, you can try try again after a few months :)

Hey. I have my belly button peirced four times! The bottem one took about as long as the first one to heal. It might take a month longer, but it shouldnt be to different. Take good care of it and clean it well, everything should go fine!
