Half a sleeve tattoo?

Im just curious how much it cost to get a half sleeve tattoo. Im getting one that is really detailed. Just curious how much yours was.

so many factors go into how much a tattoo will cost. i know people who have half sleeve tattoos that have only taken 5-6 hours but others who have taken 10-12 hours. it all depends on design and artist speed. so anywhere from $500 to $1,500. the best person to consult is the artist who will be doing your tattooo.

it depends how long the tattoo artist is spending to work on your tattoo. Some artists or shops give you a flat rate but some charge you by the hour. I got charged by the hour and it cost 150 per hour. I'm currently doing my half sleeve right.My half sleeve is very detailed because it's also a cover up to my previous tattoo. I just got the outline finished and i have to come back 2-3 more times and i'm assuming that my total would be around 800-1,000. I hope that helps.

I've wanted a half sleeve tattoo for so long, but because of my job I could never get one unless I wanted to burn up in the summer time. Here's my idea: I was going to get a combination of all my favorite childhood cartoons like "my little pony's, rainbow bright, care bears, smurfs, strawberry shortcake, and so on". I thought it would be fun and feminine because of all of the colors.

It kinda depends on the charge per hour, how fast the artist works, what kind of work (sparse or lots of ink), the total square inches involved, and so on.



I think Francine has it right with respect to the range & taking into account the variables. It's still probably best to speak with the artist as they will have a far more precise answer.

well i dont have 1 but id say since its going to be very detailed that it'll cost between $1000 to $2500

go to your tattoo shop and ask them... I'm getting one and is going to cost about $1,200
