Does a side (love handle) tattoo hurt for bigger girls?

I m 5 225 lbs so I m a little on the big side. I really want an arrow tattoo on my love handles. I know all tattoos hurt but I ve been told by one of my friends who got a tattoo on her side that it doesn t hurt as long as you re bigger. Is that true?

Well since there is more padding there it would hurt less, yes. Places that are closer to the bone, i.e. ribs, chest, spine, etc. are a lot more painful to get.



This does depend on your pain threshold though. I got tattoos done down my spine and it didn't really hurt, meanwhile the guy getting his calf done next to me was actually crying. But yes, in that area it should hurt less.
