I got a tattoo on September 3rd and I would like to know if I can start using this lotion on it or not? Would the Colloidal oatmeal be bad for my tattoo or is it ok to use it?
My tattoo is not fully heal yet. Most of it peeled but some tiny parts did not peel yet.

Absolutely, oatmeal is alright for a newly healed tat. It is alot better in cookies but its good for the skin too.
Since there are still small spots that aren't 100% healed, I would go easy on the Aveeno there.... I'd go easy there with the A&D too for that matter. It's the same principle until the skin is intact completely.. after that, whatever makes you happy...

it's what I'm using and I have 6. It's an unscented lotion and moisturizes better than lubriderm in my opinion...I've never had a problem with it yet! You're only supposed to use A&D or other thick cream for the first 2-3 days after that it's over kill and too thick!

As long as it is unscented and doesn't have aloe in it you should be fine. The tattoo isn't an open wound any longer so you don't have to worry about irritation.

Typically, skin conditions such as eczema have to do with poor dieting. Learn here https://tr.im/rvIvT
Eczema food triggers such as eggs, fish, peanuts, and soy are known to help reduce flare-ups, but this can vary from person to person. These foods may also exacerbate eczema because many people cannot properly digest the proteins, which causes an allergic reaction.

Yes that lotion is fine. I used Cetaphil and mine healed perfectly fine. Just be sure to use the A&D for the first 2-3 days and wash it twice a day for the first two weeks. After the first 2-3 days then you can put lotion on it enough to keep it moisturized throughout the day.

I don't know what that cream is, but really your tattoo artist should have told you what to use when it is healing, and I am appalled that they have not given you full and clear advise. I was told to use Bepanthon, it is a nappy rash cream (weird huh?) but it works a treat, stops any itching, heals and keeps the tattoo clean while is is healing up

Recently had permanent eyelinerr tattooed. Artist said to avoid any products with Vitamin E or like Neosporen (sp?) as those will pull the color. I was told to use a light coating of Extra Virgin Olive Oil. Plain old Vaseline works well too.

No, the oatmeal in it could cause an infection in your healing tattoo. I highly recommend using Lubriderm lotion (mild and unscented).
Don't use A&D either. It increases your chances of infection and can drain the ink from your skin.
