On average, how much would it cost for a small quote tattoo?

For my first tattoo, I've decided I want "Asleep" by The Smiths lyrics. I only want this lyric though:
"There is a better world"

How much on average would that cost? I've worked it out to be just over £100 based on one tattoo studio. I don't want anything too fancy; just plain black, smallish font size.
I know each parlour is different but what would be an average price?

Most places charge by the letter the place I go to charge 20 per letter
