it can take up to 30 minuets to fully dry inside

but use a hair dryer to speed things up

hope this helps!

Just wipe it off then, it's been long enough. Probably a good thing. Either your humid environment, your body temp, your henna paste's level of sugar, or more likely all three helped your henna stay moist, which is good, as dry henna is not releasing dye into the skin. So hopefully you'll be seeing a very nice, dark stain in a day or two.

Get some paper tape and tape it down. Or spray a bit of hair gel on it and tape toilet paper or gauze over it. The best thing would be to make a lemon sugar seal, but the above options will work ok. Plain hairspray isn't as good as a sprayable hair gel.

Your henna will turn out much darker if you keep it somewhat moist and leave the design on for hours. If you scrape it off as soon as it's dry, your stain won't be as dark as it would be after at least four hours. Sleeping with your henna on, after sealing and covering it, is a good way to get a dark stain and not have to sit around waiting.
