I'm 15 years old and my mother passed away in a car accident and my grandmother is allowing me to get a tattoo to remember her, I'm thinking of a angel on my arm with her name around it. Will someone give me some ideas and suggestions?

no need for tattoo, just remember her for who she is, at age 15, your body is still growing and that tattoo is going to look stretched out

Hey,
I am sorry to hear about the loss of your mother.
I like the idea of the angel with the name scrolled beneath it, and the arm is a good position for a tattoo such as that as it can be easily seen and the pain in that area will be relatively less than if you got it on a more bonier area of your body such as the centre of your back etc.
Im not really too sure as to what to recommend to you, perhaps if you could think of something that was quite significant and individual to your mother and incorporate it into a tattoo, such as your mothers favorite flower or colour etc.
One other idea could be a dove in flight with rays of light emerging from behind it with a small scroll beneath it with your mothers name on it. I'm not really to sure what else to suggest as the tattoo is really personal to you, so perhaps think of something that has real significance and ties in with your memories of your mother.
Sorry i couldn't be of anymore help, i hope your tattoo turns out really well.
Good Luck.

you should get a back piece done with a cross and your grandmothers name and dates and your mothers name and dates also and put in loving memory to the 2 most wonderful woman who i hold dearest to my heart.. something like that would be real nice..
