Be very careful. So far you sound like you took very good care of it. just be mind full to wash the skin with a mild soap and warm water. If there isn't any pain or discomfort coming from the tattoo you should be fine. Make sure there is no fluid or anything coming from the tattoo too.
Foot tattoos are hard to take care of. I have 2 my first one never scabbed and got infected. so make sure you are washing it. If the skin looks healed you should be find to wear socks.

I got my foot tattoo done Wednesday, too, and the tattooist put my sock back on, on top of the plastic wrap. I left it on Wednesday night, but i have been wearing socks mostly since, i just make sure it is gooped up good, and it seems to be healing alright. It is a spiderweb over most of my foot.

it takes anywhere from 2-3 weeks for a tattoo to fully heal.. I've had a few that never scabbed or peeled... you must be in Southern Cali... Its supposed to rain the rest of the week here...

If it hasn't scabbed then it hasn't healed. Put some neosporine on it and wrap it up. Then you can wear shoes and socks. Make sure you give it enough air though, like around the house. Walk bare foot as much as possible. Good luck!

You got lucky, you're a good healer. If your ink isn't sore, and has no scab on it, wear socks and shoes if you want to. It's kind of prudent to wear shoes in the rain. (Unless, of course, you like to squish mud between your toes!) As long as you can run your hand over it, without it feeling rough anywhere, it'll be fine. Take care.
