New tattoo looks faded while peeling?

Ok so I got a tattoo a few days ago, about 4 days I believe. And its peeling, looks fine. But where the ink used to look really dark, it now looks like it just came out, I've been putting the A&D on as I'm supposed to and haven't touched it unless I'm putting the stuff on or whatever. So will the color get back to its normal cover or will I have to get it touched up to be made darker? and if its peeling do I still put the A&D on and just whatever peeled skin comes off comes off or do I leave it alone?

yes I have several of them and each time I do peel, I also recommend you to use a. hypoalogentic lotion like Johnson and johnsons baby lotion , or peel back an aloe vera plant use the gel from that . or you can use vasilene I recommend you nort cover it till like the 4 th day so ink setin to skin and it wont look faded in a years from now so , hope it helps but if u do see a redish patch triple in size or unusual soreness < u will be sore a bit depending on your type of skin > then seek medical advise if any worries or walk in a tattoo shop ask some 1 two give their openion . enjoy your INKED LIFE .

Usually you will have to go back in for a touch up on the tatt - most places should offer this for free :)

The peeling is normal, just let it peel naturally though, don't pull any skin off, and keep applying the lotion :)

Hope it turns out awesome!! :)

tattoos do that a lot. Or maybe your skin just rejects the ink. Mine does it to red. Get tattoo goo. It helps enhance the color. And go back in two weeks and tell the artist about it and its a rule he has to fix it if the colors fade too much.

Keep putting the ointment on.If it gets infected get a tetanus shot.Otherwise,it should be fine and yes the color gets darker after it heals.
