Question:
Do I continue to use Bepanthen cream on my tattoo even though it is flaking?

I had my tattoo done 4 days ago on my upper arm,its black/grey wash. I have been cleaning it gently with warm water and mild soap and using bepanthen a few times a day. This morning I've noticed it is starting to flake, which makes applying the cream quite difficult as it is thick and tiny flakes are coming off even though I'm carefully trying to rub the cream in. Should I stop using this now and switch to a moisturiser? I'm scared of pulling the colour out by accident. If so,can anyone recommend a moisturiser/lotion I could use please? Any advice would be great fully received. Thanks

yea bepanthen is quite thick. a little trick i use is drop the tube in to a bowl of tap hot water for a couple of minutes and then apply, you should find it so much easier. after about 4 to 5 days i change over to savlon as it is quite thin by comparison and use that for the next few days.

hope this helps.
