help me think of wolf tattoo ideas!!?

Question

i am a girl, and have loved wolves since the day i was born. they symbolize a lot to me and want to get something tattooed to show their importance to me. i would'nt mind either my ankle or back. if it was on my back i would put it either on the back of one shoulder, or right in the center of my upper back. but i am not sure what to do... i want something beautiful but am drawing a blank and would like other opinions. thanks! :)

You want something different than what is seen all of the time on plates and tattoos. You don't want the quick answer, or the stereotypical wolf image.

I do think the upper back, center is a great spot for a significant image.

This link show actual size of a wolf's front paw... it would make an awesome tattoo statement, being that size, and could be done like the snow print if you found an experienced and skilled tattoo artist.

Try to make it original, wolf-tattoos aren't that unusual after all. I think you should do it on the center of your upper back, I think it would suit best, but that is my opinion. And remember that you always can talk to a tattoo-artist and ask what he thinks, if you are planning on visiting one anyways.

As for the design, well wolfs aren't that unique so try and make it your own. One of my friend's got a lions paw tattooed on her shoulder and had one of her friends design it in a somewhat tribal tattoo looking way. this was a neat idea that i saw online http://s4.hubimg.com/u/1381519_f520.jpg
