I'm getting my first tattoo tomorrow,it's very small and its going on my lower arm. I've had piercings before but I'm wondering what the pain scale would be? Any advice on taking care of it and such would be appreciated thanks!

Pain varies from person to person and also, where you get the tattoo. Since it's small and on your arm, I think you'll be okay as far as pain goes. You should follow whatever aftercare instructions your tattoo artists gives you. Typically, artists have a different way of taking care of your tattoo than others so it's best to go with what they say. My tattoo artist told me to leave the bandaging on for 4-8 hours then clean it with mild soap and water. He also told me to clean it twice every day and apply lotion, NOT OINTMENT. It is okay to use ointment but that's usually only for the first 48 hours. Apply it in a thin layer if you do use some because it can smother the tattoo. Make sure you use unscented soap when cleaning your tattoo. If it irritates the tattoo or it kinda burns/stings when you use it, it's scented. I use Lubdirem (unscented) on my tattoo but I hear A&D, Keri, and Curel work too. I guess it all depends on which your prefer or what your tattoo artist recommends.

my first tattoo was on my stomach by my hip, i honestly thought i was going to cry with the pain, but when i got there and he calmed me down i was fine, it didn't even hurt that much , its uncomfortable yes but its not horrible, its a sharp scratch constantly , they will have a few breaks in-between each bit, it starts to get more painful if there going over raw skin again and again. but you will be fine, don't worry , go in , have a pain killer , get some sugar in you , i had a energy drink and a chocolate bar. :)

It will be more like a burn-y, dragging feeling. Totally bearable. Plus, it's small, so it will be over fast.
