I got a tattoo on the 16th of January, so like two and a half weeks or something, I was wondering whether it is healed enough to have a bath? thanks anyway.

until it's completely healed! usually 2-6 weeks depending on the size of it etc. but definitely until the scab has FALLEN off (dont pick it) and leave it a week or so after that too just to make sure. just avoid it for a while after, just to make sure. also avoid running it under the water for too long in the shower x

You are not supposed to soak your tattoo in water until it is healed. This takes approximately 3-4weeks. This means no swimming, and no baths. Showering of course, is fine (and recommended!) but unless the tattoo is somewhere that will not be soaking in the water (like your neck or somewhere you can keep levitated above the water), I would not have a bath until the tattoo is healed. Always ask your tattoo artist for advice when you are unsure, but in my experience, baths and swimming are not good until your tattoo is at least 3 weeks old.

don't soak until its peeled. I have quick showers and treat the tatt when I get out.
