Question:
how do people hide wrist tattoos for work?

I think most wrist tattoos are really nice looking and I love tattoos in general. I love planning for new tattoos and a wrist one has been in my mind lately. So many people have been getting them so it might drive me away from it but I see alot of people with them and I was wondering how do they cover them? I know most jobs don't allow visible tattoos and I am planning on going to medical school so pretty much any job as a doctor probably wouldn't allow that. Are people just not thinking about their jobs in the future or is there a foolproof way to hide it every single day? You can't wear long sleeves EVERYDAY. haha. that would be uncomfortable in the summer. I don't usually wear bracelets or anything either. If I got anything I'd get my wedding date when my fiance and I get married but thats just an option and not really relevant to this question.

if it's something small enough, you could cover it with a nice watch, which you will need in med school and in pretty much any career you choose in the future. it also depends on where exactly your going to get it. if you get it in the small of your wrist where your wrist and hand connect and its not to wide, you will easily be able to cover it with a watch or something of that nature. if you are afraid of what people say about getting a wrist tattoo there, veins and whatnot, and you decide to get it further up your arm than that, i don't really know what to tell you. i have 4 now and i am a pre-nursing student, but i planned mine out so that they can be easily covered and shown, depending on where i am and what i'm doing. hope this helps.

Band aid? I have a wrist tattoo to and unless you can wear bracelets or a watch you can't really cover it up. Long sleeves could work when its chilly out.

I have tattoo concealer (from Sephora.com will use this for my wedding also) and a watch sometimes or bracelets.

A friend of mine is in medical school and she hides her wrist tattoo with a watch or band aid.

I've seen a lot of people (mostly co-workers) use bandaids to cover tats on the back of their neck, wrists, etc. Only drawback to that is people ask you a lot "what happened?". This was when I was working in particular retail jobs though, and I don't think the people working there planned on being there for life, so bandaids is probably more of a "temporary job" solution.

I have one on my inner left wrist, I'm a nurse and I don't cover it up. It's never been a problem for me.

You could use some cover up and apply as needed. Then after it drys dab some powder on it.
