Where can I get a tattoo in Houston, Texas that will tattoo to minors?

I'm sixteen, almost seventeen, and I want a tattoo. I want to know if there are any places that will tattoo to minors with parental consent. I know the tattoo is permanent, but the tattoo is going to be about my diabetes, which I've been living with for over ten years. It wouldn't be very visible either. Please help. Thank-you.

With parental consent, any tattoo shop is legally able to tattoo you. There may be more specific shop rules though, so it really depends on where you go. Either way, you absolutely MUST have a parent present, or no decent, reputable shop will tattoo you.

I think you should wait until you are 18 so that you can have the pick of the top tattoo parlors as opposed to finding a place that will tattoo a minor but not be up to code with sterilization techniques or artistry.



I know a girl who got a tattoo at 16. She went to an underground place that did minors. The guy who did her tattoo spelled her name wrong...



So needless to say, I think it benefits you to go to a reputable place that you know will give you a quality product...and those places typically do not do minors...

Anyone who tattoos someone

under age (minor) is subject

to a Class D forfeiture...

No one is going to lose their shop

over a kid wanting their first tattoo...

for any reason what so ever...

There is no parental consent in TX..

Wait til you are 18 and get it at...

In Texas, you get caught tattooing a minor, let alone one with diabetes, which screws up the healing process, you could be charged with assault on a minor.

I believe the UV tattoos are rare anymore, the ink itself was of low quality, hard to work with, and not very good for you

Why not just have your parent's go with you when you get the tattoo done.
