Add non scented lotion after 2 or 3 days usage of aquaphore. Even with lotion the itchiness can be intense at times. When it does that I lightly with my fingers slap straight down on it. I don't know what this does, but it calms the itching right down.

Its just the heeling process. Don't scratch it you could mess up your tattoo just moisturize it and let it heal.

You can take a Benadryl or another antihistamine.

If moisturising doesn't help just slap it instead of scratching it.

Aquaphore works great. You can get it at walmart for a few bucks. Pat it!

Its best to just pat it. Scratching it will ruin the color and destroy the tattoo. You can use A&D ointment or tattoo goo on it. Both work equally as good. They tend to get far itchier if you let them dry out.

Just put whatever ointment on the tattoo and when it starts to itch, just pat it. My brother always did this since he wasnt able to scratch it.
