do u think that tattoo with meanings like protection really works?

im planning to get some tattoo symbols like the eye of Ra and horus which symbolizes protection. and some other symbols that means patience and all..

It depends entirely on your belief and Will. If you believe in it, and put the energy into it, then yes, it helps. Belief creates power (from what I've seen & experienced - so have written articles & such on the subject). Therefore, I also find that symbols that others have put a lot of energy/belief into over the years can be very valuable.



However, if you rely too heavily on any such crutch, and push your luck because of it, it is bound to fail, even if eventually. It almost certainly won't stop bullets - you have to duck when necessary.



Tokens of patience work best if you remember them when needing patience... At the very least, psychologically, they can provide a needed distraction to help one step back from frustrations.

Well i have a tattoo of a triquetra symbol on the back of my neck which is also used for protection. Another cool protection symbol i have come across is the seal of saturn. Very good for protection. If you believe in them they will do the job.

Not really. It can have a personal meaning for the person getting it, but I don't think they have any "powers" on their own.



If somebody got a tattoo and, in getting that tattoo, swore to never drink again, sure. But saying "This means protection so I'm protected..." No.

maybe. i mean maybe its like that whole mind over matter thing people talk about. or like how people can just be taking sugar pill but told its medicine and then miraculously be cured. so maybe.
