actually any ink would do fine as long as its black and i'll suggest buying actual tatoo needles online (amazon) for a VERY small price

I've done 8 stick n pokes on myself and 6 on other people. They're fun and can turn out really well if done carefully. Don't poke too deep or it'll blur, too shallow it'll fade. You have to "float" the ink under the right layer of skin. I never take proper sanitary precautions, but I have yet to get an infection because I dump hydrogen peroxide on healing pieces a few times a day until they've scabbed over and fallen off. Then you have your lovely art. I use a [new] slightly bent 18G-16G saftey pin for a needle and India ink. You can pen on your design after you sanitize the skin, and then ink your needle frequently while poking quickly along the pen lines. Or you can freehand. It's just like drawing with a fountain pen only stabbing. Constantly wipe off excess ink [with a damp cloth] from both the skin and your needle to avoid it drying or building up. Remember, it's probably going to hurt if you don't have a tolerance yet and be patient or you'll screw up. You can touch it up later.

Are you an artist? Please tell me you are because then at least you'll have a steady hand and some creative/ artistic ability. If you don't even have that then practice doing lots of different kinds of art something as simple as a heart can be screwed up easily then your stuck with it forever.. Try taking pens and drawing on your skin.. Buy the right tools on Amazon and make sure to sanitize..:) good luck though I highly do not suggest it!!:)

I am thirteen and I have tattooed myself twice (going to be three times soon). I used a needle that you use to pin fabric when you sew and some black non toxic paint. None of my designs have gotten infected. I have three dots on my inner ankle, an x on my finger and will soon have a heart on my wrist.

Yes! My advice will be DO NOT TATTOO YOURSELF!! You will, and I guarantee this, regret it, and most probably do a shot job of it.
