Yellowing can be a sign of bruising. Some areas the tattooist my grip and have the stretch the skin to apply clean lines or to fill properly. It can also happens when you are deficient or low on iron when getting a tattoo. If you find the skin is puffy and the ink lines are spreading or very painful, consult your physician immediately as it could be an allergic reaction or blood poisoning caused by the ink.
When getting a tattoo make sure your tattooist has clean work habits and uses reputable ink products. There are inks out there that are chemically enhanced to create brighter colors. Please do some research before getting a tattoo.

Yeah it can happen - some areas are more sensitive to bruising. My friend had a huge amount of bruising on her most recent tattoo and none on the one before that. It should fade in a few days!
(I'm just assuming it's bruising based on your question - is there yellow ink in your tattoo that could have migrated?)

Yes! It is most definitely normal to have some bruise. This mainly happens when you do shading or use smaller needles. The thing to keep in mind is that you are treating your skin pretty harshly (to say the least!) and all the in-and-out from the machine will bruise your skin. Does not happen always and to every one but I asked 2 of my Tat artists and they both confirmed. So no worries, take good aftercare for your new tat and the bruising will eventually disappear!

I too have quite a few and I bruise easy, so it was normal for me to have them turn yellow. I don't think that it would be anything to worry about even if you don't bruise easy.

Most of my tattoos are more than 3 years old and all of them still look fresh. I spent more and went to world class artists. Result is that they use better inks and techniques.

I have never had a any yellow coloring appear around any of my tattoo's. i would go have it checked at your tattoo guy. and if he says its fine, but ur still iffy about it, go get a 2nd opinion from another parlor.
