i just got a tattoo behind my ear around my hairline when can i dye my hair?

i just got a tatto pretty close to my hairline not yesterday but the night before
and my question is
when can i dye my hair
i need it really bad
but its still pretty bubbled up
and im worried that between the dye shampoo conditioner excetra that its gonna f some lines up or somthing
any advice?

You should call your artist and ask their opinion. They are the best resource for these types of questions and want the art they have just given you the best chance of healing and looking great.



From my experience and advice from my artist, I would say you would have to wait until it heals. The studio I go to recommends not exposing tattoos to any perfumes or skin treatments (other than unscented soaps and lotions). But again, your artist knows best!

It's important to wait until it's healed. That's at least two weeks. And if you've ever read the safety inserts on your box of hair dye, you'll also see that a tattoo may make an allergic reaction to the dye more likely, so you really should do the recommended allergy test before you go ahead with it.

wait until your tattoo is fully healed. everyone is different with how quick you heel but usually anywhere from 2-4 weeks to fully heal. wait until its not raised, all the extra ink has peeled off, and then go ahead and dye your hair. your hair might need to be dyed but you don't want to mess your tattoo up. its permanent.
