is it ok to use bag balm on your tattoo?

I just got a couple new tattoos and i was wondering if it is good to put bag balm on it?

No, it's too thick. Use antibacterial soap and cool water with no washcloth, just your hand, 3 times a day, pat it dry and then air dry for 15 minutes. Then add a light coat of A&D ointment. VERY light, not even shiny. Do that for 5 days, then switch to a white unscented skin cream until it's finished peeling, maybe 2 weeks to a month.

I have to use bag balm,as im allergic to A&D ointment and cant use lotions. My husband has many tattoos and has ysed bag balm on every one of them.
