when i turn 18, i want one small star tattoo on my left wrist...is there any hidden meaning to the tattoo or is it okay?

i love stars, they are a little over done now a days, but me and my best friend are getting, matching star tattoos there is gonna be a pink star and a purple star our favorite colors. so yeah stars rock!
