Conch? I like conches...

Anyway. You can buy it, I just use generic drug-store brand. Its cheaper, and does the same thing. Or H20cean.

You can put a little bit in a cup, and stick it in the microwave briefly. The warmth is good, and helps draw out lymph and get crusties off more easily.

But I prefer to make my own, its cheaper, and easy.

1/8tsp non-iodised sea salt mixed in a cup of hot water, and leave it to cool for a little while.

It should taste no salter than your tears.

Twice a day, three times at most. If its gets horribly crusty inbetween, mine was, clean it with boiled water.

I just make my own. I mix 1/4 tsp sea salt in with 8 oz of warm/hot water and use that to soak my piercings. Works like an absolute charm. Do that twice a day and you'll be golden. It's cheaper than buying premade saline solution too, and you can use the sea salt in cooking too!

The other ladies are right, just mix your own.

It's already been said but it is worth reiterating: make sure you get NON-IODIZED Sea Salt. You can find it at the grocery store. Iodized salt can give you chemical burns and make things worse. It'll say non-iodized right on the canister so it should be easy to figure out what you should buy.

The best way to do the soak (imho) is to dunk a cotton ball into the solution and hold it to your piercing for 10 minutes or so.

"simply saline" is the best! you can get it at any drug store. I also use that dial foaming anti-bacterial hand soap and just put it on my piercing in the shower, then make sure you rinse it all off... it hasn't gotten infected yet! Heating it up is not a good idea, as bacteria grow faster at warmer temperatures, I mean, theoretically you could get it hot enough to kill the bacteria but that would hurt your ear... a lot... So don't do it!

i make a mix or sea salt and clean water. Not too salty, then soak my piercings in it.
