I have asked this before but I didn't really get a lot of replies.

I have heard that some fonts blur of fade easier than others, is this true? On one hand I find it hard to believe unless the writing is tiny on the other hand it was a tattoo artist that told me this. I will say this particular artist is no longer in business.

-all ink spreads a little over time.

-computer fonts are not designed to be tattooed. they can be, but don't work as well as something hand-drawn.

-tiny tattoos do look worse over time.

-wrists do fade/blur a bit more than other areas (not as much as hands).

-it is best to do either cursive, olde english, or traditional sailor-style tattoo letters. but more importantly, the tattooist should be able to DRAW it, not trace it or print it from a computer.

trust me.

No it has nothing to do with font.

Placement and depth is what matters.

Hands and Feet- fade fast

Tattooist that is too 'light' with the gun- fade sooner

Black ink holds the best. Also...waxing them once in a while (at least 6 months in between) will bring it back to life, expecially color tattoos.

Did you know youre ears NEVER stop growing ? :P that's something to think about. seriously, look at an old mans ears one day ! lol. anyways, yes they will blur. tattoos shouldn't be that small cause no matter what they will blur. it does sound like a super cute idea though, =]
