Any shop willing to sidestep an age requirement law - and risk some hefty penalties - are probably not as stringent on it's cleanliness guidelines. There's a lot of paperwork and rules that go into running a professional shop, and tattooing minors is kind of a major one. If you live in a place that allows tattooing with guardian consent, you can't just bring in anyone, you'll likely be asked for a birth certificate or legal paper with both your names on it proving custody. I'd wait, no matter how bad you want it, you have your whole life to get tattoos. This way you'll have 3 years to be sure you really want that one in particular, and you're not getting something you'll regret as an adult. People change a lot as they grow up, and what you want now, you might grow out of.

I wouldn't! I'm 19 and have been going back and forth on what I was as a tattoo for a few years now. You're still changing at 15 and your tastes are going to be different between now and when you are older. In most places you can't even get a tattoo at 15. I would recommend you waiting until you are 18 and can legally get one. If you still want the same tattoo in three years, then you'll know you really want it!

Wait until you're legal. Otherwise you'll need your parents permission and I highly doubt they'll consent because they're permanent. Also ink can fade overtime (Fredo's ink is the only tattoo place I've used where the ink doesn't fade) so it'll look better later on if you wait. To top it off if your plan was to get one on your shoulder, near your ankle, or anywhere else where you can see the lines from your joints on your skin the tattoo eventually starts looking like it's running together so if that's where you picked it to be you should pick something else. I'm just giving you some tips because waiting is better than getting one too soon. I don't regret any of mine and I've waited at least 4 years after I've wanted them to get them and they all still look good except a couple of the faded ones that need a touch up.

Waiting until you're 18 is probably the best advice I could give you. If you're dead-set on it and there's no changing your mind, you will at least need to wait until you're 16.

Not sure where you're from but the youngest anyone can get tattooed in the US (with parental consent) is 16. Some states minors can't get tattooed at all, even with parental consent.

If your parents are willing to take you and consent to it, wait until you're 16 and then look for a shop in your area.

Don't go to someone willing to tattoo you at 15 because they're more than likely also willing to do other shady things you don't want (such as not sterilizing things properly).

Tattoos can seem pretty cool, and i'm even thinking about getting one myself one day.

However, I feel like most people who get tattoos when they're young really regret it, or just regret what kind of tattoo they get.

I honestly think you should wit until you're a little older. If it is very important to you, then maybe it can wait a few more years.

No. I love tattoos, I think they're beautiful and plan to get quite a few - but if I had gotten the things I wanted at 15 I would look ridiculous.

Definitely not, my friend did the same thing at the age of 17 and two years on he regrets it. Wait a few more years and if you still feel strongly about getting that tattoo then get it, don't rush into it.
