i have seen many celebs with tats, how do they cover them up in movies so it looks like they dont have them, i mean there tattoos are huge sometimes and they cover it

There is a product called dermablend (you can find it at dermablend.com) and it is amazing. It can hide anything from scars to tattoos or even just redness. Many major department stores sell it, just make sure you get the right shade other wise it might look a little off.

Thick makeup paint and sometimes editing systems on computers. I'd imagine that the amount of makeup that they would need to cover the tattoo would be substantial. I don't think it would look natural it you were to see in real life up close.

there are types of theater makeup that is very thick that can cover up tattoos. i believe in tomb raider you can see in one scene where angelinas tattoo wasn't completely invisible (the billy bob dragon one) ben nye has a makeup that is supposed to be good at covering up tattoos. it's thick grease paint kindof like what clowns use.
